It was born, not built, 20 years ago.

Welcome to this magical story

On what was meant to be a five-day trip to San Miguel de Allende with her young children, Gloria was deeply inspired by the town's strong family values. Enchanted by the warmth of the community, she extended her stay to four years. During that time, she built her home, which eventually blossomed into what is now known as Villas Xichú. A sanctuary of peace and connection with nature, creating a home for guests from all over the world.

Xichu means the sisterhood of grandmothers.

We honor our ancestors, weaving pure magic through every hand-crafted detail.

Every corner of Villas Xichú reflects the skilled craftsmanship of local Mexican artisans. From the foundation of the villas to the handmade wooden doors and stained glass windows, each detail is carefully crafted. Our furniture - beds, tables, sofas, and outdoor seating - is a celebration of traditional Mexican artistry, honouring our cultural heritage and the creativity of our people.

La Casa del Huizache spacious living area. Beyond, the dining area and the rooms. Welcomes 4 persons in 2 suites

The Organic Orchard

Our mission continues

During the pandemic, we started an organic orchard to feed the local community. Although we paused our orchard after the pandemic, we plan to reopen it in 2025, continuing our commitment to sustainability and nourishment. At Villas Xichú, we believe in nourishing not only the spirit but also the body.

WHY ARE WE SO UNIQUE?

Our mystical, magical essence invites you to remember the perfection and divinity within us all.
